Corey Action has choreographed and provided Artist Development for a diverse group of artists such as Korean super star, Lee Seung Chul, Hip Hop Youngster Mac Mall, Latin dance diva Angelina, Filipino pop sensation Jocelyn Enriquez, the musical voice of fitness brand ZUMBA, Dahrio Wonder and SOULTRAIN & GRAMMY AWARD WINNER Melanie Fiona. Action was also apart of the deployment team for R&B Star & Oakland native Kehlani. He has traveled the globe including Brazil, Japan, Italy, Canada, Germany, Romania, Russia, Paris, Puerto Rico, Cuba and the Philippines working as a producer, costume designer, casting agent, make-up consultant, choreographer, coach, and dancer. Producer-song writer Dwayne Wiggins of Tony Toni Tone and producer-song writer Robbie Nevel, Thembisa Mshaka, film production and television development enterprise all contract Action to work with many of the acts that they have produced. Action has even choreographed for the internationally known Korean Dance Company Nool, with award winning choreographer Ko Chun-Sik. Pop Superstar, Usher recruited Action to judge & contribute to Usher’s Youth Entertainer Program over the years. Action is definitely a man of many trades. Artist Development is the process any musician, actors, singers & stage performances go through to develop their craft and skills necessary to build a professional career in the entertainment industry. This could embrace everything from voice, songwriting, image and branding, music and video production, live performance, marketing and social media.
Rates vary widely by location, and the artist needs. Corey Action rates start at $100 per hour, depending upon time commitment, flexibility and an over all direction and focus on expectations of the artist’s growth & development. Action is committed to giving 100% attention to the artist, in his private studio in Oakland CA. Everything needed to train is housed and available at the studio or appropriate facilities provided by Action. If a mock photo-shoot is needed, Action! A short promo video is required, Action! Choreography & dance requested for an upcoming show, Action! A Hot look & styling for this weekend’s event, yes, Action!
